Jordan Durga

Jordan Durga and Justin Durga created the Durga Insurance Group in 2017 with the goal of building something different, something to set themselves apart from the hundreds and even thousands of different insurance companies and agencies. Their mission is to provide financial security to Michigan families through building relationships with clients and understanding their individual needs, plans and aspirations. It is for that reason that they chose to partner with Farm Bureau Insurance, Michigan’s Insurance Company, to provide some of the best home, auto, life, farm and commercial insurance available to Michiganders! There are no fancy price guns or lizards. Instead the Durga Insurance Group focuses on each family through a Trusted Advisor role to provide insurance recommendations to best protect your family’s financial security.
Before founding the Durga Insurance Group, Jordan was a 2006 graduate from Shelby High School and then received his bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Baker College. Following college, Jordan spent a few years working as a Finance Analyst for a large manufacturing company in West Michigan. However there was a strong desire to return to a client focused industry and that desire led to founding the Durga Insurance Group, joining Farm Bureau Insurance and working with Michigan families on a daily basis.
In his personal time, Jordan enjoys spending time with his wife, Sara, and chasing after their two kids, Bella and Nolan. Jordan is an avid golfer and enjoys spending time outdoors during the warm summer months. He was born in West Michigan and has spent his entire life enjoying what West Michigan has to offer to him and his family. He counts it not only as a blessing to live in West Michigan, but to also have the opportunity to protect the families of West Michigan every day!

As a life-long member of this community, Justin and his family appreciate all that West Michigan has to offer. Justin graduated from Shelby High School in 2003. From there he went on to play golf at Muskegon Community College, then obtained his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Baker College. After college, he became a PGA golf professional and spent 10 years in the golf industry. Deciding to leave golf, he went into supply chain management with Arconic in Whitehall for 3 years. While at Arconic he realized how much he missed being in the customer service industry and after careful planning insurance was clearly the best way for him to serve the amazing area of West Michigan again.
Justin feels fortunate to be given the opportunity to serve and give back to the community that has given his family so much. Please consider him and his team for your insurance needs.
Crystal Kittel was born and raised locally in the Twin Lake/Holton area. She recently moved back to the mitten state after living in Colorado springs, Colorado for almost 7 years. As much as she loved the beauty of the mountains, Michigan is home! She's a mother of four children and recently married her highschool sweetheart in 2020.
Crystal is passionate about family which makes her perfect for her position as a Life insurance specialist. She prides herself in helping protect families from the uncertainties life can bring. Helping others gain peace of mind is her #1 goal.

I was born right here in Muskegon and graduated from Muskegon Catholic Central. I went on to play basketball at both Muskegon Community College and Central Michigan University, where I obtained a bachelor’s degree in Sociology. My four sons attend Mona Shores Schools. I love Muskegon and am honored by the opportunity to serve this community.
